1. For large batches or cutting at faster speeds

For large batches and large diameters (up to 100 mm), the carbide tipped annular cutter is more resistant to high temperatures, thus enabling high cutting speeds, resulting in faster operation and higher productivity levels.

2. For universal use

Whether for universal use with materials ranging from aluminium to stainless steel, from hardened steel to 40HRc, a carbide tipped annular cutter is recommended as the most universal annular cutting solution.

3. When cooling is not possible or dry machining is required

When using HSS annular cutters, cooling is essential. As cooling cannot be applied in all situations, a carbide tipped annular cutter is the solution because the carbide tip can handle extremely high temperatures even without cooling.
